Concerts in the Park

  The Frankenmuth Women’s Club will again present their popular Concerts in the Park series for the summer of 2015. All shows take place at 7pm in the Palmer Schau Platz located in Memorial Park, behind the Frankenmuth High School. Concert take place rain or shine.

  The first concert of 2015 will be on June 28, featuring Hotel California. The Eagles’ great harmonies have been enjoyed by audiences at festivals across North America and around the world. Hotel California performs the Eagles hits including “Heartache Tonight” “Take It Easy” and the iconic “Hotel California”. Other later songs including “Love Will Keep Us Alive,” “Heartache Tonight,” and "In the City" are also part of the show.

  July 5  Air Margaritaville - This premier Jimmy Buffett tribute show will instantly transport you to paradise, where the cheeseburgers are warm and the margaritas are cold.  This band is made up of outstanding musicians bringing their tropical sounds to Frankenmuth.  So dust off your flowered shirt and wear your grass skirt, if you’ve got one.

  July 12  ABBAMANIA - This concert is a Canadian produced musical which takes you back to the disco era of one of the best pop bands in history with songs like “Mamma Mia”, Dancing Queen”, and “Waterloo”.  This is a show for all ages sing along with and to enjoy.

  July 19   Neil Diamond Tribute - Will Chalmers has been in the music business for over 25 years.  He has toured across Canada and the United States performing in theatres, fairs, exhibitions and casinos.  He could perform hits tonight like, "Cherry Cherry”, ��racklin Rosie”, “I am, I said”, “Love on The Rocks”, “Sweet Caroline" and many more.  Will is as close to Neil Diamond as you can get, in looks and voice.

  July 26   John Denver Tribute - Ted is a singer, songwriter and a tribute artist. He competes in the Talent Quest involving 28 states, New Zealand, Australia and Canada and he took first place. You will hear songs such as: "Leaving on a Jet Plane", "Starwood in Aspen", "Follow Me", "Rhymes and Reasons" "The Eagle and the Hawk", "Sunshine On My Shoulders" and "Poems, Prayers, and Promises".

  August 2   The Diamonds - You will recognize this dynamic vocal quartet from the 60’s-70’s by the songs that made them famous like “Little Darlin”, “Kathy O”, and “Why Do Fools Fall in Love”.  The Diamonds have many honors and accolades that include:  3 Gold Records (Silhouettes, The Stroll and Little Darlin’), 33 appearances on American Bandstand, Soundtrack – American Graffiti, Soundtrack – Happy Days, Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and Doo-Wop Hall of Fame.

  August 9  Tribute to Brooks & Dunn - NEON CIRCUS is the authentic Brooks & Dunn tribute band performing nationally and internationally. Delivering the ultra high-energy show Brooks & Dunn were famous for. This highly acclaimed tribute to Brooks & Dunn has won the praise of Brooks & Dunn fans all over the world. Neon Circus features authentic performances of Brooks and Dunn’s number 1 hits such as “My Maria”, “Only in America”, “Neon Moon”, “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone” and many more.

  August 16   Bee Gees Stayin’ Alive - This tribute band will be playing many of their hit songs that are still popular today such as “Stayin’ Alive”, “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”, “Massachusetts”, “Jive Talkin”, “How Deep Is Your Love” and “Nights on Broadway”.
