2017 New Generations Award

The Frankenmuth Morning Rotary Club recently honored Adam Bierlein as its 2017 New Generations Paul Harris Fellow Award recipient. This award recognizes a non-Rotarian under the age of 40 who demonstrates exemplary leadership development activities, community service, or international service within the Frankenmuth School District. Bierlein graduated from Reese High School and moved to Frankenmuth shortly after graduation. A long-time Frankenmuth Jaycee, Bierlein has served as a chairperson or committee member for many local events over the years, earning recognition as 𠇏rankenmuth Jaycee of the Year” in 2010. As co-owner of Bierlein Trombley Electric, Bierlein uses his skills as a master electrician to aid in electrical setup for many local events. In his spare time, Bierlein also performs with the Frankenmuth Schuhplattlers, entertaining tourists and guests at many community venues. These efforts, along with many others, made Bierlein a clear choice for the New Generations Award. According to his nomination form, m has embraced the Frankenmuth community whole heartedly. His selfless volunteerism is matched only by his love for his family, making him a model young person in this community.” Pictured above are (l-r) Michael Southgate, Frankenmuth Morning Rotary Club president; Adam Bierlein; and Tammy Claramunt, Morning Club member.
