HELP WANTED - CITY OF FRANKENMUTH - LABORERS (Seasonal) -

The City of Frankenmuth Department of Public Works is seeking applicants for the following seasonal laborer positions which are responsible for maintaining publicly owned landscaping areas and facilities within the City limits: Streetscape Care Laborers – The City of Frankenmuth DPW is looking for passionate and energetic staff to help with the greenspace program. Working outdoors most every day, this staff plants and maintains all of the greenspace within the City limits (Trees, perennials, annuals and Lawn Areas).

Staff works with the Department of Public works using small hand tools and small engine machines. Great hands on training for anyone looking at a career in Environmental Science, Urban Forestry, or Horticulture. All work is done outside and with a small crew of laborers. Must be available to work mid May through late August or early September. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, enjoy working in the outdoors, have experience working with lawn maintenance equipment, possess a valid Michigan driver's license, and be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer months.
